This couch isn't big enough for the both of us!

Everyone in the house knows that the sofa chair in the office is Flash's "special place." That is where he always goes to look down upon his loyal subjects (a.k.a his mom and dad). Sometimes Alven likes to get up there for some brother bonding time, but since he's skinny and doesn't take up too much room Flash grudgingly accepts his presence. Dottie has never liked being on the sofa chair, or on the bed. She prefers to sleep either on the floor, or in her doggy bed, but ever since winter decided to pay us a visit in the sunshine state Dottie has been seeking out warmer and cozier sleeping spots. Well no one prepared Flash for the surprise of his life when he went to jump up on his sofa chair and found that Dottie had already made herself quite at home. Now I should mention that Dottie is going to be 11 months very soon and is already 32.4 lbs and at least three times Flash's size. Let's just say there wasn't that much room left over for the little guy. But did this stop Flash from feeling that he had been robbed of his favorite napping spot? Did he maybe think he should gracefully leave and try again at another time? The answer my friends would be a big fat NO. Instead Flash decided that he would do the mature thing and stay on the sofa chair anyway and prove that no one, and I mean no one, bumps him off his chair!

Did he in any shape, or form look even remotely comfortable? Does it look like Dottie cares if he is or not? Does she look even a little abashed for taking his spot and in a hurry to leave? Was this even a fight worth fighting?

Well, I can't answer those questions, but I'll let you decide for yourself with the following pictures:
I don't know what kind of point he's trying to prove with this display of stubbornness seeing as the target of his lesson is fast asleep, but it was 100% HILARIOUS! Also, I bet his little back legs got a great workout after clinging for dear life like that.

  1. You are going to have to send in the big guns and get Alven to chase her away! For a price I am sure he will do it! Doxies for life!

  2. Hilarious! I am sure once Dottie decided to get off, he was like, "And let that be a lesson to you!" Oh Dear Flash, there is only one of you.

  3. That is soooo funny! If flash blinks he is going to fall. Tha face shows pure concentration. If there is anything out of the other two limits is Flash' sofa. I do not think Dottie got any awareness of her transgression. HELP HELP FOR FLASH. He did as much as he could, but that, obviously is not enough.
