Recently, we had to take Mr. Flash for a quick vet visit to discuss a certain “situation in his posterior.” He had been doing a lot of licking and nibbling which had caused some irritation and a little bit of hair loss. The vet concluded that it might be due to a combination of him needing to be expressed and his irritable bowel syndrome acting up. Flash was taken to the back to be expressed and he was sent home with a new antibiotic powder that combined with the Prednisone that he already takes should help get things under control and an antibiotic cream for the affected area. Mr. Flash however, was not a happy camper. Not only did he have to deal with the injustice of being dragged off to see his mortal enemy, the vet, he also had to deal with the humiliation of having to wear the cone of shame. Here are some quick shots of the little guy in the parking lot of the vet’s office.

Mom, you put the cone of shame on me?????

I can't even look at you! Betrayal....

  1. Poor Flash! I hope you got some good treats to make up for the cone of shame, Buddy!

  2. No wonder he gives you the wrong directions home all the time. Poor flashy, I hope he got some extra cuddle time after just grave injustice.

  3. Poor boy! I hope he feels better soon

  4. No no .. darling that's called a Ruff in finer times. Queen Elizabeth wore one and she's famous. Mom's just dressing you fancy. That's all!

  5. a good reason not to trust the "going to the vet is for your own good" speech. how or whom is going to help you with the itching...Not mom that is for sure!
