A Trick Since I Can't Eat Chocolate

Yesterday was Valentine's Day my mom told me. That is a day where people give out hugs and kisses all day long. It's also a day where you're supposed to give those you care about the most some chocolate. Chocolate in the shape of hearts is apparently the favorite. I didn't get any chocolate. Not in any kind of shape. Sure I like a cuddle as much as the next dog, but I'm pretty sure I'd prefer a chocolate. Mom keeps telling me I can't eat it and that it's bad for me, but I'm starting to get suspicious. How come she gets to decide that for me? How does she know it's bad for me if I've never had any? Very suspicious indeed.

Anyway, in order to make up for hoarding all the chocolate to herself she took me to the tennis courts so I could run around and have some fun. The other dogs came too, but that's not important. I have to admit that it was fun and I enjoyed myself. Took my mind of my chocolate shortage. While we were there my mom and I practiced one of my many tricks. My Aunt Sandra was nice enough to photograph the practice session and I'd like to share the pictures with you. I call this trick, "Jump On The Bench."

Here is the bench

Here is my mom at the bench. I'm off camera getting ready for the trick.

The jump!

Perfect landing

  1. Great action shots San! Maria looks so super cute! I love how in the "landing" picture, rosie looks like she is going to blow away. Those ears are like parachutes. She held her own though out there in the tennis ball court.

Thanks for again for the picture session. Dog agility here we come! :)
