The Orchard

One of our other stops on our road trip was to an orchard. We had never been to an orchard before and were super duper excited. You could pick your own flowers, apples, and other kinds of fruit (though Mom didn't let us doggies do any actual floor picking. Unfair!) There were so many things to see and to smell that we almost didn't know where to start. Mom had to hold on to us tight when we first got there because we were ready to GO, GO, GO! She had to even remind Dottie to act like a normal dog and not one who just escaped from the loony bin. After that Dottie was able to calm down enough to not pull Mom's arm off which was appreciated.

Here Dottie is trying to get as close as possible to all the flowers. They smelled really good!

I even got to be a train conductor.
Conductor Alven; I like the sound of that!

(Can you see Mom's foot? She was hiding in the back. Hehe)

Here we are posing in front of a tractor.
I might not be an expert, but when I looked under the hood it seemed like something might be missing.

There was so much to explore and smell that even though we didn't get to actually eat any of the fruit, or chew on any of the flowers we still had a lot of fun. We hope that we get to go back soon.
