Diva gets a new name and a forever home

Natalia's sweet foster, Diva, has found a forever home. Thursday she is going to live with a wonderful woman and her son and their great dog Dakota. Dakota is a big, goofy, collie who is 7 years old and in need of a friend. They fell in love with Diva when they saw her with us during a trail hike a couple of weeks ago. That same day they came out to an adoption show where Diva was being shown and filled out all the paperwork and even bought her a harness in anticipation of taking this cute little girl home. Well their dream and hers has come true and tomorrow they will become a family. We are all super proud of how far Diva has come and how much progress she has made. She is the sweetest, most adorable and lovable girl and we all agree that it was an honor to know her. Sheri (her new mom) promised to keep us updated and send lots of pictures. She also loved Naty's grooming abilities and will be bringing her by whenever Diva is in need of a trim. Oh, and she's also getting a new name. Thank goodness! She will now be Shelby which we think is perfect.

WE LOVE YOU SHELBY!!! We won't forget you and we hope you won't forget us. Love and kisses little girl.

  3. Dearest bff Shelby,
Although I never minded sharing mine with you, I am glad you found your forever mommy. We will miss you, and your antics. I could always count on you to blame things on and you took it like a champ. Now I have to find another patsy but I think with aunt Sandra's trio there has to be one gullible one (....Dottie). Anyway, be sure to tell them how my mom let you get away with anything and you got all the treats you wanted, and we let you roll on all the dead frogs you wanted too. You know the important things. I hope to see you at the park some day soon! Best of luck- foster sister Maria

  4. I’m so happy for you Shelby and thanks to a wonderful foster family that rehabilitated you.

When you got to you foster family you where afraid of humans, shy, sick and malnourished. Now and thanks to a lot of patience and love, you are a playful, happy girl and a star in others lives. Job well done!
